TRAINING
TEACHERS
Our Mission: To improve the lives of families and children by providing
developmental programmes that lay the foundation for lifelong learning. We equip ECD practitioners with accredited training and empower parents and caregivers with the knowledge and skills needed to support children’s physical, emotional, nutritional and intellectual development.
About us
The Tshepang Educare Trust is an NGO based in Bethlehem, Free State that places the needs of the child at the center of all our programs. Our passion is to provide children from disadvantaged communities access to high quality Early Childhood Development (ECD), and we tackle this mission by engaging with the children and the parents in the communities.

Tshepang Educare Trust began as a satellite of Ntataise in 1989 with the aim of supporting developing ECD centres in the rural areas of Clarens and Harrismith. In 1995 an independent, centrally based organization was established owing to an increasing demand from communities for training which was beginning to come from the small towns and informal settlements in and around Bethlehem.
Today, Tshepang’s operations provide training and ECD services to the areas of Clarens, Fouriesburg, Warden, Harrismith, Senekal, Lindley, Arlington, Petrus Steyn, Reitz, Tweeling, Frankfort, Villiers, Paul Roux, Rosendal, Ficksburg, Clocolan, Marquard, QwaQwa, Lindley, in the eastern Free State.

The organisation currently works with 160 pre-schools and reaches some 6800 pre-school children from disadvantaged areas.

Bethlehem and surrounding rural communities in the Free State to ensure children
are developmentally ready for school and life.
