Feeding Communities

during the pandemic

Tshepang is fully engaged with combatting the effects of the pandemic. In early June, food parcels for 150 households were gathered and distributed via our Outreach programmes in the townships outside Bethlehem and on various farms in the area.

Sanitation and social distancing protocols were strictly observed.

The packages were received from The Lunchbox Fund, as well as apples from Lone Tree Farm and cabbages from De Hoek Farm.

The soup and bread was made and distributed by our very own Tshepang staff.

In addition, a number of large JoJo water tanks were donated to the informal settlement of Cape Schlain to help with sanitation.

Cluny Animal Trust has adopted this area, and has been injecting and sterilizing dogs.

We are very grateful to all our partners who made such  valuable contributions during this difficult time.
